What you can expect: custom training

The objective of custom training is to drive permanent, meaningful change in a firm’s operational habits. There are four phases of collaboration with the client to make that happen:
research, design, execution and follow-up.

Research
It is crucial to understand not only the problem the organization is facing – the friction that led them to reach out for help – but also how the organization works and its objectives, values and culture. The deeper our knowledge of a team's day-to-day reality, the better chance we have to design training that results in meaningful change.
Design
We take that specific, deep knowledge and build training content that leverages existing capabilities and enhances them appropriately. Our goal is to create training that is both conceptual and experiential, intense yet fun; that challenges participants and pushes them appropriately past limits; and that engages them and drives ownership of change.
Execution
Training is executed either on-site or remotely via Zoom Conference and can last from half a day to multiple days. Workbooks and other training materials are provided, including prep work and follow-up assignments. The experience is a mix of lecture and Q&A, exercises in sub-groups and creation of deliverables (e.g., presentations). Participants will think a lot and might even sweat a little.
Follow up
We work with leadership to define specific follow-up actions to training. Leadership commitment is mission-critical. It is their passion, focus and dedication that will deliver results.
